Welcome to Born Remembering! Set in Tamil Nadu, South India, "Born Remembering. A story of a conscious birth" follows a young couple as they journey through pregnancy, birth and the early moments of parenthood, supported by an experienced midwife and an engaged family.

Through ritual, nature, intergenerational connection and evidence-informed guidance, the film portrays birth as a physiological, emotional and transformative experience rather than a medical event alone.

As the mother prepares for birth, conversations around nutrition, informed decision-making, movement, consent, partner support and the birth environment unfold naturally within the story, offering audiences a vision of respectful, midwife-led care rooted in both science and traditional wisdom, making Born Remembering a hybrid educational film.

At its heart, Born Remembering asks how we might create a world in which every woman is informed, supported and empowered throughout pregnancy and birth.
